CACI Study Centers

How the CACI Study Centers Work

There is no requirement to partner with the CACI to develop a study center or for self-development. Our study centers provide curriculum in Anglican Discipleship, Evangelism, Pastoral Development, Sacramental Theology, and Counseling.

Center coordinators or points of contact should have a formal degree, preferably the MDiv or DMin. Either of these can be pursued through St Augustine House Seminary (SAHS).

Course Materials

a.      If the curriculum needs to be tailored to specific needs, we can accommodate accordingly

b. Once it has been confirmed that applicants are ready to begin, the CACI will provide all course materials required (books, online sites, and interactive online sessions).

Instructors

a.      CACI volunteer instructors will work with applicants through the various modules until completion.

b.      Assignments for each module will be based on the curriculum.

c.      CACI instructors will grade and approve that applicants have met the curriculum standards for each module.

Certifications

a.      The CACI will give the appropriate certifications or documentation for applicants to teach others based on the same curriculum.

CACI Ecumenical Covering

a.      Each new study center will receive CACI ecumenical coverage to teach others once they complete the required coursework.

b.      If the objective is to obtain an ecumenical covering (i.e., partnering with the CACI), we will start the approval process in accordance with the CACI Constitution, Charter, and Bylaws, but only after the completion of the required coursework.

c. The pathway to an ecumenical covering/partnership with the CACI is at the discretion of the Archbishop and does not necessarily require additional Anglican Discipleship. This is based on the applicant’s historical narrative and their foundations. These are the fundamental principles that have shaped and continue to define the applicants. In essence, we need to know that you are going to practice and teach the orthodox principles of Anglicanism to which the CACI adheres.
